Milligan is an Auckland-based producer, writer and script
consultant. Her recent credits include Tearepa Kahi's 2013 feature Mt Zion (cinema/DVD distributor Sony Pictures), and Katie Wolfe's 2011 feature Nights in the Gardens of Spain (US title Kawa, VOD/DVD distributor Wolfe Releasing).
Short films she has executive produced include Adam Strange's Berlinale winner Aphrodite's Farm and James Cunningham's Siggraph winner Poppy. Documentaries include Tainui Stephen's Let My Whakapapa Speak for Maori Television.
Together with partner Roger Grant, she is producing Kim Webby's feature documentary From Raids to Reconciliation, currently in post-production, and her development projects include the feature Whiria (Woman Warrior), a story of love and war set in
pre-European New Zealand.
Earlier credits include the award-winning feature The
End of the Golden Weather and many hours of television drama. She has
also written for a number of prime-time drama series including McLeods
Christina is a lecturer in screen production and screenwriting at Auckland University of Technology, and is currently a board member of Script to Screen, originators of the Big Screen Symposium.
